All practices are required to provide patients with a named GP, the aim is to ensure that there is a GP in the practice who can offer overall responsibility for the care and support that our surgery provides for you. They may also work with other health care professionals to ensure that you have a co-ordinated package of care.
All patients have been allocated a named GP at the practice. Whilst this doctor has been designated as having overall responsibility for care and support that our surgery provides for you, this does not prevent you from seeing any other doctor in the practice as you currently do. If you do not know the name of your allocated GP please contact the practice.
Your GP of choice or your named GP will not always be available and your care will be provided by an available GP or other clinician as necessary. You do not need to take any further action, but we will be happy to help you if you have any questions by contacting us on our surgery phone number.
