At Eve Hill Medical Practice, we are committed to providing safe, respectful and inclusive care for all patients, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer/questioning, intersex, asexual and other LGBTQIA+ people.
We want every patient to feel able to access healthcare without fear of judgement, discrimination or assumptions. Our staff will respect your name, pronouns, gender identity and sexual orientation. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your care more comfortable or accessible.
We can support patients by updating preferred names, titles or pronouns on medical records, recording communication needs or reasonable adjustments, offering confidential support around sexual health, mental health, screening, safeguarding or wellbeing, and signposting to specialist LGBTQIA+ organisations.
You do not need to disclose your sexual orientation or gender identity unless you choose to. Any information shared with the practice will be handled sensitively and confidentially.
