We operate a system of repeat prescribing for medication taken on a regular basis. We do NOT accept telephone requests for repeat prescriptions. This is because - prescription requests clog up telephone lines for urgent medical problems, and it is safe practice to have written requests to avoid mistakes with similar sounding drugs.
Please use the order form on the right hand side of your printed prescription, and leave at reception or in the post box at the front door.
Online Prescription Ordering
We are able to offer online prescription ordering via the link at the top of this page. If you are interested in ordering your repeat prescription online, please contact reception and obtain a registration form.
You will need to bring the completed form, with photographic ID and proof of address IN PERSON (unless for a child under 16, where the proof of ID and address should be from the parent or legal guardian). Following checking you will be issued with an ACCESS PIN code which you can then use with the link below to register for access to prescription ordering.
Please avoid asking for repeat prescriptions for medicines for minor illnesses – these can be obtained from the local pharmacy.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, practice based pharmacist or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
